Walking at Green Lake

It was a nice day yesterday . We got the chance to go walking at Green lake. Green Lake is always been crowded specially weekend. A lot of people go there for a walk, rollerblading or just to relax. Green Lake is one of Seattle’s most beloved parks. Its expanse of water and green space in the center of a dense urban neighborhood draws thousands of people daily from all over the city. The park serves as a natural preserve for hundreds of species of trees and plants, as well as numerous birds and waterfowl. The newly reconstructed 2.8-mile path around the lake provides a perfect recreational spot for runners, bikers, skaters and walkers. Many others use the athletic fields or visit the park for boating, picnics and swimming. We walked 4.16 miles. What's not to love about green lake. Greenlake is a fantastic place to go. Walk, rollerblade, bike, run, or
crawl around the almost 3 mile path that circles the lake and unless
it's late at night or pouring down rain, you won't be alone (and even
then, you probably won't be alone). It is a popular park for all of
these activities as well as having a "kiddie" wading pool, areas to
throw around the frisbee/baseball/volleyball/etc., and space to just
play around. The summertime finds this park crowded with visitors
planning to walk around the lake, boat on the lake (there's a rental
place for little boats), and otherwise enjoy outdoor activities/sports
at this cherished park.It was fun walking. It's good for your heart.

Everyone loves green lake. It's a great park. You can go there and
walk, bike, rollerblade, jog around the lake. Rentals for the most part
are reasonable. You can also play frisbee or other games on the grass.
There's also a great playground for kids. The only downside is that
it's not the best swimming because there's advisories at least once
each summer..because of algae blooms caused by ducks. Besides that,
it's an excellent park..and the water is pretty to look at.
