Be Confident when You're Petite
Ever feel uncomfortable as a person on the shorter side? There are certain ways how to overcome that!Wear high heels. It is amazing what a couple more inches will do for a person. Choose a haircut that compliments your face and frame. Long thick straight hair can end up making you look shorter, while short curly hair will often make a heavy petite person look larger. Don't slouch. Stand up straight and be confident. Wearing short (but not too short!) shorts and skirts will make your legs look longer. Exercise. Cardio-vascular exercise is wonderful for relieving stress and boosting self-confidence. Strength training or other weight-bearing exercise like walking will help a petite woman avoid osteoporosis as she ages. Remember, just because you are petite doesn't mean you can't be strong!
Remember, petite is cute. Don't fixate on your height. People are less apt to mention the issue if you don't bring attention to it. Practice using good posture and stand as if you are tall. Don't put yourself down. As long as you have confidence, people will notice and be impressed. If you have problems with pants, find a good tailor.
If you believe you are becoming overly fixated and sensitive about your height, it might be a sign of a more serious psychological disorder. Seek professional help.
