Baby Product May Expose Infant to Chemicals

I was watching news tonight , the news about baby product got my attention. Baby shampoos, lotions and powders may expose infants to chemicals that have been linked with possible reproductive problems . The chemicals, called phthalates, are found in many ordinary products including cosmetics, toys, vinyl flooring and medical supplies, they found the chemical on baby's urin. They are used to stabilize fragrances and make plastics flexible. They said that they were found in elevated levels in the urine of babies who'd been recently shampooed, powdered or lotioned with baby products.

Parents that have a newborn baby should be careful anything you put on your baby's body. Concerned parents can seek products labeled "phthalate-free," or check labels for common phthalates . If the product has this. Dont buy it. Dont risk your baby's health.
